92-95 Civic Si didn't come as a sedan (at least I don't think) and only came in DX, LX and EX.
And for 96-00 "normal" Civic sedan is a little vague because they come in the same models I believe. Hatchbacks and coupes come in Si which have a vtec d-series or the ek si has a b16a2 motor which has a lot of aftermarket support.

in 92.95 didnt the ex and si hve the same motor?? if i remember right the ex is the canada ver of the si at anyrate u can modify any honda motor there is tons of parts for every motor of corse the more populr motors ie b series is easier to get stuff for it all goes down to what ur goals are
92-95 Si only came as a hatch in the US. Some other areas- like Canada I believe- had their equivalent of the USDM EX model called the Si.
US models, yes. The 92-95 EX coupe/sedan and the Si hatch all came with the D16Z6 engine. del Sol Si too.

You guys have this alll messed up 92-95 Civic come hatchback/sedan/coupe/hatchbacks si/and coupe si.The ex model was not offered in canada,but it was for the usdm.We have the si which is almost identical in everyway to the ex model. There was a tonne of different trims as well.You had se/dx/cx/hx/lx/si/vx(d15b1 economy version vtec.Longest gearing ever installed in a civic,my buddy could do 186 in 3rd.It was also the lightest civic ever made.Even the coating on the floors was thinner to reduce weight.But it only came with like 97 hp) As for a fur door civic my prefrence would be a 99-2000 4 door.The bumpers are sexier/headlights/taillights/dash...thats just my opinion.
And there is 96-98 si's.My gf had one.It came with a d16y8 vtec.Power windows/locks(didnt work of course)/mirrors/si spoiler/cruise/tach/tweeters/Integra spindles/calipers/sway bar/etc....

Um no the 92-95 civic offered as an SI in usdm market as a hatchback or del sol. The coupe SI was given to the us through 99-00 and now in the fd2 chassis.
Also 186 what mph or kpm.
There was no si during those years. the closest thing was an ex with 99-00 si parts which is what you described but it was not an si. I could go put ferio all over my car but hell its not a ferio
You're talking about Canada only. To the US and the rest of the world, there was no Si coupe from 92-95, and there was no Si coupe from 96-98, so we're not "wrong". You're in the minority here. And, as you mentioned, your "Si" is just our "Ex", so it's not like they're really anything special...
ya there is nothing special.Strange how they didnt have an si model in usdm.Like most people say about hondas,alphagetti. Anyways i would go for a 99-2000 sedan its nice enough to do some work to and still have hondas odler suspension rather than 01 ++.Unles you can get your hands on a ferio 
Lets add another piece of info.....there was no 92 Civic Coupe in the U.S. 92 was only the hatch, the Del Sol (aka CRX) and the 4-door sedan

This is turning into a FAQ. I dunno if this is directed to me.But you can get se sedans and coupes in canada.92-95 models.The special edition coupe came with a clock,tilt,pass side mirror in sunvisor,and im not 100% sure but i "think" a tach.As for the sedan i know you can get them se,but im not sure what guidline they have in terms of creature comforts.And i take back saying get a 99-2000 sedan i have seen some 92-95 on here and theyre sexy.
so your saying you can get a z6 vtec sedan factory??? in the states?. If so i want out of canada,and down there !! lol
Yup, the EX model sedan came with a D16Z6, moon roof, and 4 wheel disc brakes. That would be my model of choice if I were to do up a Civic sedan...
Add a sunroof and it sounds like an LX.....without out the sunroof.....sounds like a DX with a few upgrades (like the clock) I believe all the civics had a tilt steering wheel.....??? I'm guessing it didn't come with a Z6 motor....so it sounds like a DX. So Honda had SE badges??? Cool.....actually....special lol

Mines an LX and i dont have a sunroof ......hell it really doesnt matter.
To answer the op's question the best 4 dr is the awd-abs ferio. But since that is only in Japan the Ex sedan will have to do as the winner.

Ahh.....I'm all mixed up lol. Does the LX Accord have a sunroof? What the hell am I thinking of?? Maybe it was the LX has PW and PL....???
