k i have a 92 civic 4 door we did a d16y8 swap a few years ago now im bored with that im going for the next step. i bought 98 teg with a OBD1 gsr swap in it. its a write off so its just a parts car now. my question is what all do i need to do this swap ive been reading looks like i use the teg motor mounts??? what do i use for a wiring harness???
thanks for the help steve

K that's easy then kinda makes it just plug and play then right? Now what about motor and tranny mounts there seems to be alot a mixed answers on the net. Do I use the integra mounts or the civic ones ?? Or do I buy swap mounts??

I used the mounts from the teg, the motor mounts were aftermarket but the tranny was factory.

pics didnt work do you have any more info on this swap?? theres lots on the net but theres no forsure anwsers for anything.

thanks for the help guys cant wait to get this in should be a nice change more power and still a daliy driver. whats a good clutch flywheel combo for this set up i thinking on a all motor build for it over the winter nothing to crazy maybe hit the mid 200hp range.

No lightened flywheel needed.....wont change that much at the hp you want (let alone what you might have now). Resurface your flywheel and IMO get an Excedy clutch (decent quality and price). I STRONGLY suggest you also get a OEM Honda throw out bearing. I did the other 4 times I've changed Honda clutches and didn't on the last one......it squeals all the damn time and irritates me (I even greased it before install)

92 Civic.....so you are already wired for VTEC from shock towers to the ECU (make sure you get a OBD1 P72 ECU if you dont have one already). If the GSR swap has the GSR Engine Harness on it (all VTEC wiring is from factory and in the wire loom/plug) thn you are in good shape. Do what everyone else says and use all the integra stuff (shift linkage too!) Plus run the knock sensor line to the ECU (I think its D3 on the ECU but dont quote me) But you need a Donor Pin to plug intot he empty slot for the new knock sensor line that will be needed for the P72 ECU

that was random :gives: lol just bugging we started there to but i want coilovers now tho i have H and R springs and toikco blues for sturts rides nice and has a pretty good ride height could be abit lower tho. i think ill ur advise on the flywheel clutch combo CAFROG i was kinda thinking the same. i cant wait to get the swap started been raining here and the teg is outside.
