B16 Cam upgrades

So I am taking the head off my B16 in my 91 Hatch and would like to upgrade the valvetrain when it is off. I have never upgraded the valvetrain on any of my hondas so I am looking for an suggestions for a nice all motor setup(Cams,Springs,Retainers,Cam gears). The car does not get driven everyday but not trying to go too aggressive with it. Any suggestions would be great. I just dont wanna throw parts at it and not have good results.

If you look at performance gains per cost, skunk2 has a good line-up at a good price. For more gains (if your lead foot gets itchy), would suggest taking a look at toda for N/A. Supertech and crower also make good head components if you want more, but skunk2 is a very commonly used and worthwhile upgrade.
 
SIvalves.com for springs and retainers(make sure you know how big cams your gonna run, and what tension you need). Valves will work on N/A applications and on mild boost setups.

You could always go for the cheap mans way and ctr cams. They are a great upgrade and not very aggresive. This will also raise your vtec ingagement and it is a little bit louder. Have fun!!
 
Sorry I forgot I got m cams while i was in japan. they are pretty common over here. You are right they are rare but fun item.

Yeah ctr cams arent cheap. you can get a set of used crower cams cheaper with larger gains.

Raise your vtec engagement? how is it going to raise it by just swapping the cams? you need to change that by tuning or hack. the cams dont dictate what rpm vtec enguages. thats all done by tuning.

stop posting false info.
