Well it has begun, my bike has started acting up, and my old man isn't in town to give the answer.

Drove it to my girlfriends house, ran ok. Went to go for a ride, it wouldn't start. Put new plugs/wires on it. Ran decent. Got it home, went to start it in the morning, and wouldn't run.

Now a few weeks ago I took it out, and I had the battery poorly harnessed in. It popped out and I didn't realize it until a little ways down the road. I put it back up and tied it down well and continued on my way. When I got home was the first time it stopped running. At my gf's house. I looked and the negative terminal had melted because it was making a poor connection and constantly arcing. I side mounted the battery post and it got a good enough connection. The second time, I figured there wasn't enough of the terminal left in there, so that's why it keeps dying. Went and got a new battery yesterday, put it on and it ran better than it has since I've owned it. Got it to my gf's house, (maybe 5 mins) wouldn't start. I don't know what to do.

I, never in my life, will don "biker clothes", but rather will ride in my chuckies, Army jacket if I'm cold, Flat black full face helmet, and jeans. Maybe boots if I got a chick on the back.

I don't think it's getting sufficient constant spark. It gets it to start then acts like a tard and dies.

Easiest thing would be to buy a new battery and try again. Maybe new stater after that.

Battery is literally brand new. I rode once for 5 minutes on it. It's not the melty one, I got a new one after that.

My suspects are:
Ignition Module
Voltage regulator
or
Stator.
