Btw i want to keep it fwd

There's been talk of using a K-series transmission to do this, but I don't think anyone's actually successfully done it yet. I'd look into some other options if I were you. The K-series is fully capable of making big power and can be swapped in to a Civic pretty easily these days...

Thanks for the advice ,the thing is that i have got the complete k-series transmition and i know a guy thats selling a f20c motor (for very cheap). I live in south africa and really want to do somthing unthinkable and represent honda on the strip and street! I dont want to use forced induction and thought that using the f20c motor would help me allot with achieving the most power without the use of a turbo , and time is no issue i got an everyday car and wanted to do this as a project car

thats fucking retarded. you still have to fabriciate a rear transaxle and differential. just buy an s2k.

yes its retarded, but seriously, what the hell are you talking about???
its FWD

the kit allows you to mount an F20/F22C transversely, and mate it up to a K series (FWD) transmission, in a 5th gen civic or 3rd gen integra

and after $4k for just that kit you still are nowhere near having a functional car... in addition to the kit you also are going to need to buy an F20/F22C ($3-4k) and a K series transmission ($1.5-2k??)... so after about 10 grand you still need engine management, everything still needs to be wired up, and you will need to figure out something for intake and exhaust manifolds ($????)

and all for what to be able to say you have a FWD S2000 engine in your civic/integra??? :gives:

i agree that is definitely pretty fucking retarded

im not a fan of the K swap in these cars and i will say without a doubt it makes a fuck ton more sense to do a K swap.... hell even a J swap makes more sense than this F2K shit

sorry, i just took a quick glance at it. i thought it was just an f20c mount kit to put in the rwd swap.

my bad.

Ive started got the motor and k series lsd gearbox waiting on ecu dials gauges and wiring kits (being shippedas i post) est time to complete 5months will post the video once im done and the engine and gearnox has been fitted already

Can we please get a picture of this 97 wagon?

edit: I took the liberty of googling that for myself and all I can say is

right.jpg

Fuckin weird.

This swap is special. Expensive, FWD, and about as much power as you could get with a nice junkyard set-up.

Wow. I'll just say that it's been done in Texas... for a whole LOT less.

Stupid anyway. If you do a k20 block with the s2 internals/valves/dualsprings you'll yield a k20 with the same power as a f20c. Not sure about the cams.
