Just some FYI. Fry's is having a great sale for computer components. You can build a complete gaming rig for around $600 (before tax) that will be awesome. Here are the parts and deals.

AMD 1055T Hexa-Core (yes, 6 physical cores) + MSI 880G = $249
Corsair DDR3 4GB (2x2GB sticks) = $99*
EVGA GTS 250 512MB = $50*
WD Black Caviar 1TB = $99.99
Antec 900 SE case = $59.99*
Corsair 400 watt PSU = $29.99* (from newegg)
Sony Optiarc DVDRW = $21.99 (from newegg)

* = mail in rebates

Total = $610 after rebates

if you have a brick and mortar store, its even better. There is cheaper RAM for $69.99*, the CPU combo is only $199.99* and there is a free 420 watt powersupply (if its from antec its as good as the corsair one). That brings it down to

In Store Total = $500.00 after rebates.

And if you dont game very much, you can pick up the 9600GSO for $19.99*. It will still play all modern titles at 1680x1050 or less with good graphics. And if you dont game at all, you can just use the onboard HD graphics. Lastly, if you dont need all that processing power and would like to still game, you can get the Core i3-530 for $100 less and itll still play games very well. Plus they overclock like a beast.

Anyway, thought id share these great deals. :)

I just priced an iBuy Power system that is very very similar to the mention setup and it was $797.00. Lastly, if you need windows 7, its usually around $99 for an OEM copy.

I'd have to drive down to Indy to get to a Frys. :(

Frys > Best Buy, but I'm stuck up here with the latter of the two.

I would, but nah. No rush in building a good server.

I need a new setup so bad, but I'm gonna wait until August when I have some extra time on my hands. Some damn good deals in there.
