So im getting kinda ahead of myself because i have yet to even obtain my integra, but ill be getting a 3rd gen shortly, i dont know which model but not a gsr or type r and i have a 10k budget including the car and i want to get the best engine possible. Ive done some research on b18c k20a/k20a2 and the k24a but i cant come to a conclusion. Any information/stats/opinions would be greatly appreciated.

for a total budget of $10k including the car you are not getting a K swap

im only spending 2-3k on the car, how is 7k not enough ive read alot of people piecing it together for under 5k

you can piece a k swap to gether for that price. but in order to do that the k24 out of a accord does not have the power to really justify it. Where as with 7k you could easly do a type r swap with a mild build and have made more power for dollar compared to a budget k swap.

why not keep the ls that's in it now and just dump the 7k into it? rebuild it with low compression for boost and piece together a good turbo kit or rebuild it for high compression. And you could pick up a b16 head for it for pretty cheap ~$500 depending on what they go for near you because that's what they are about here

you can make more power on less boost if you dont lower the compression.

Have you even looked into your options with the stock engine yet? A boosted LS will walk all over any stockish VTEC B-series swap, so definitely consider it...
