So i thinking i fixed my other problems, but now i came across some random problem.

engine is a b18c1 stock fuel rail, holley fpr, 450cc injectors

when i start the car, it idles at like 200rpm. my wideband shows me 10 a/f which is super rich! it is just pouring gas into my engine. it also idles horrible at that 200rpm, and when i rev it slowly, it still more gas than it should have and is still really rough. it seems though, that once the engine is starting to warm up, the rpm's rise and it get a little smoother. i have had it on long enough to see if it goes away at operating temp though

what do you think it can be? my tps seems to be ok. one thing i dont know though, is if my iacv is good. any info that you have would be great. i may have a video up soon

Give us some more details.

-Do you have a chipped ecu to run the 450cc injectors?
-What fuel pressure are you running? Stock is recommended

Its a chipped/tuned ECU (he had another thread on a bouncing idle)

Is there any vacuum leaks?? Makes me think not enough air too much fuel.

thanks cafrog

but i cant find any vac leaks. it randomly happened when i pulled my TB off this afternoon. i dont think i moved anything because i checked it like 5 times to make sure.

How do your plugs look? Maybe change them and run a little tighter gap? ......maybe. Raised my idle.

Oil Level?

Coolant Level? (this would be white-white/blue smoke from exhaust if it was a coolant leak)

the smoke is more of a black smoke. it looks white-ish when the smoke is closer to the muffler but when the smoke gets a little further is black. the plugs are getting socked by gas because i took them out when i ran into this problem to see if the plugs are ok. all of them are gas-ed up. oil level and coolant level seem to be ok

Also, did you by chance mess around with the end cap on the passenger side end of the fuel rail where the feed line comes in?

i may have bumped into something because i was working on that side when i was messing with the throttle body. i double check the resisitor box as well because i didnt take much time to re connect the rbox when i had it off with stock injectors

ok i have a CEL. but when i jump the clip so i can read the code, turn the key on, the CEL wont turn on and just stay off. but when i take the wire out, and turn the key to on, the CEL does what it's suppose to and comes on for a short time.

Why does it not come on when i want to read the code?

fixed. some wires that where never shrink wrapped where not connected well. reconnected and shrink wrapped, bingo.but i throw a code 7 for tps :{

TPS? Isn't that what I was thinking in your other thread?
