Ok so i own a 92 civic 4 door lx with a D15b and i recently destroyed it haha =).. anyways i purchased a Jdm d15b and its about 1 day away and then my mechanic is gonna swap them out for me. My question is what is exactly the right steps i need to take that i would need to know with upgrading to Jdm or is it just bolt on plug and play? Thx fellas for the help.

Last year for the DPFI's was 91. If it's an OBD1 D15B, then yes it's pretty much plug and play except for needing to add VTEC wires(treat it like a D16Z6 swap).

Hmmm. So your motor came out of a JDM 88 CRX X? That shit is literally carbed. I have a non vtec D15b in my 90 DX with a block off plate over the hole for the mechanical fuel pump. IIRC the only D15b with no number after the "b" that isn't vtec is that one.

Never mind, I just did some searching real fast and a fuel injected version was sold in the Civic Ferio Mx (coupes I think) 92-95.
