Well I finally got my first full time job. I work for The Rodda Paint Company. I work 8am-5pm Mon-Fri. I deliver paint and I am a paint sales person. I make $10.50 an hour. Not a bad step up from my part time Kohl's job where the hours varied anywhere from 5 a week to 30 a week and from 5:30am-Midnight and I made only $9 an hour.

The new job is so much easier too. Its a small store so I only have 5 other co-workers.

I got a $2000 scholarship for school so I'm going to take advantage of that this fall. I have to take 12 credits of classes to be eligible for it. So I'm going to do the full time school, full time work thing.

congrats dude! keep at it with the school

Learn how to lift properly, you don't want to mess your back up. Also, its easier to lift 2 5 gallon pails at once, the just one. It evens you out better. The paint fields not bad. Home owners coming into the store asking what color should I pick, or does this go with this gets annoying quick.
Good luck with the new job.

Yea, I've noticed its easier with 2 pails. When I lift them in the back of the truck I two hand lift the buckets. I'm looking forward to this helping me get a little stronger.
