swap engine wiring harness or just get a obd2a to obd1 jumper harness?

Im in the process of taking the ls out of my bubble and putting it into my 97 integra LS and ran into a wiring issue:

the ls out of the civic is turbod and is already tuned but the civic ecu is a p75-a51 (obd1 i think?) soo im wondering will the engine connectors from the 97 integra wired up for a ls plug right into the motor out of the civic since its a obd1 engine harness and then i just get a obd2a to obd1 ecu jumper harness and plug in my obd1 ecu? or will i need to swap the engine to ecu harness from the civic into the 97 integra? if i do how hard will that be and does it require taking the dash out?

thanks

the wiring is 2 parts.

the jumper harness allows you to plug in your ecu to the car.
the bay plugs will be all different as well, and 99% of the time, it's easiest to use the chassis harness, and cut/paste plug ends to plug in to your electronics from the current engine harness onto the chassis harness.

you shouldn't have to do anything in the dash. it's just a lot of tracing wires in the bay.

also, putting an older motor (obd1) into a newer car (obd2) is illegal in nearly every state that has an emissions program. So, you might want to look into that before starting, because its a lot of work if you can't ever register it.

thanks im familiar with how it hooks up just worded it wrong. I have the engine bay harness from the civic still (original car that the motor was running perfect in) so would i need to swap the bay harness into the integra so that i can plug into the harness plugs coming off the motor?

the bay harness and the engine harness both have the same amount of pins coming out of the connectors so it looks like they should plug in but im just afraid that i might fry the ecu and wiring harness if i plug the obd1 engine harness into the obd2 bay harness

the obd1 engine harness will not plug in to the obd2 chassis shock tower plugs. they aren't even close.

you will need to use the integra's motor harness and add/cut the plugs off your current obd1 engine harness onto your car's harness.

but if i do that i'll still have to get a odb2a to obd1 ecu jumper harness so that i can plug into the obd1 ecu so wouldnt it be easier and cheaper to just take the harness that plugs into the ecu from the civic and put it into the integra?

thats alot of work just use obd2 engine harness and jumper or you can put obd2 plugs on 1 harness and use jumper we make our own harness's

soooo how hard would it be to pulling the old engine bay wiring in the civic and then pull the obd2 wiring harness thats going to the ecu in the integra and then put in the civic wiring harness into the integra?

EG engine harnesses are plug n play to all OBD1 and OBD2 94-01 integra engine bays. Just use your current EG harness, plug it into the integra, and get an ECU jumper harness to plug into your ECU. You will need an OBD2a to OBD1 harness like these ECU Jumper Harness - OBD2A to OBD1

Does the 97 LS have a harness with injectors/distributor/alternator?

If so, you can just use that wiring harness and switch those parts over. with a jumper harness if you want to run the OBD1 ECU

ok thats what i was making sure cause i thought that the b18b1 that i have is obd2 and the connectors all look the same on the engine bay harness in both the civic in and integra just wanted to make sure that i wont fry anything
thanks

i think i might have one from one of my old ls motors but from what egb19c said i shouldnt have any problems plugging everything in as long as i get a ecu jumper harness
