Ok here is the problem I have a complete motor from japan it's a B18C-5 im trying to put it in a 95 eg hacth the right way no short cuts at all want to do it right and nice. The swap came with everything motor (everthing is on the motor), trans, ecu, the oringal wiring harnass, cv axles, shift link. Need to know what I need on top of that and how hard is it going to be to put it in a EG Hatch back this is my first time using this web site so I hope I get some good intell on this project im am starting THANK YOU TO ALL THAT HELP ME OUT THROUGH THIS SWAP/ BUILD.

stock civic transmission side mount, stock civic rear mount,99-2000 civic si left side mount. if the harness and ecu you have is obd1 you're good to go, if it's obd2 sell that harness or trade for a obd1 harness and get a obd1-obd2 jumper harness., and a obd1 gsr/b16 distributor if its not already. other than that you should be good. its really not that hard to do the swap. just remember how you take the stock shit out. the new parts will go in exactly the same with the exception that you may have to re-route a plug or two so it reaches but chances are you won't. good luck on your swap.

lower radiatior hose will work, although you will need either a ls integra or b16 delsol upper hose, i forgot which.

if motor is obd2 you need to use your old injectors , a 94-96 altinator dizzy wires are same just diff plug you can cut the plug off old dizzy solder wires to new dizzy, you need a 92-95 motor harness or a 92-06 gsr harness you can have a p28 ecu chipped with base map for b18.... p28 is out of 92-05 civic ex make sure it's a manual ecu

o ya if it's a jdm motor you can't use harness cuz it's for right hand drive car so everything is backwards

the s2000 lower hose fits!? wow, yea learn something new everyday. and thanks for clarifying the harness ordeal. rep points for u sir! :)

If your B18C5 swap is in fact a 'C5', the integra harness will be plug n play into your chassis. You won't have to change injectors, distributor, anything! All you will need is either a chipped P28 with a type-R basemap, or maybe an S300 setup or equivalent. Even the integra radiator hoses will fit.

thanks to all that took time to help me out one more thing does hasport sell the motor mounts that will fit in my car and why can i not use my Type R ECU in the car

He stated it was a JDM motor and must have mistakenly said C5
So its RHD and wont work without tons of crappy shortening/lengthening/soldering
He can make it work but needs to at least find a USDM Integra VTEC OBD2A engine harness (Not sure if OBD2B USDM harness fits for sure) If his swap is OBD2A Its plug and play except there will be one extra plug on the OBD2 harness that just hang there.

If he's already a OBD2B ITR swap....I'm not sure if it just sets right in but maybe someone else can chime in

For the ECU.......Socketed P28 straight to the dyno/tuner FTW

let me know

i can help you
