engine mounts arent lining up. what is the proper mount combo? driver and rear line up but the passenger mount is bout an inch off to the left. any help is appreciated

i know on my car with my b18b1. i have aftermarket mounts on the sides stock civic ones on the bottom front and rear is combo of civic and integra.

you have to use a automatic integra LS mount for the tranny mount for it to work. what rear mount and bracket are you using?

the ls auto mount is too wide for the eg bay. it hits the passenger side which then pushes the belts into the driver side. so i got a budy to fab a mount with square tubing that im going to cut out the old mount bolt slieve and urethane the slieve into it. will this work? given that its lined up. will the urethane hold?

hmm thats a good question. with 5spd transmissions the stock civic mount works, but auto, hmmmmm. I'm willing to bet a da auto integra mount will work. i have one here, and it looks a lil skinnier than all the others.

the auto civic / tegy mounts are the same. 93 civic cx and 94 tegy rs i got. where the tranny hits the passenger side, is it ok 2 hammer it out the way? or do you have 2 cut it out and weld in a new piece ? only needs a half inch more room

you can hammer it out i would think. you have to do the same thing on a EF swap when putting in a B series, but on the alternator side frame rail. can you post a picture of where it's hitting and where you want to hammer it out? i'd like to have a head's up of where i need to do it at.

Why not just switch it to a manual the swap is very easy the hardest part is taking the pedals out because you need to be a Chinese contortionist to get up in there. :)

bc that's not what the OP nor i are trying to do. if you don't have input on what mounts to use for the tranny side on a auto B series swap or anything encouraging, then please don't post this silly " just swap it to a manual" bs. some people don't want to drive a stick shift. my wife learned on a stick but she wants to keep her civic auto also and do a swap. sorry but i get tired of people saying that. i'm not trying to sound like a d**k or anything...

On a plus note, cvacjohn did you get a chance to take any pics or find out anything else?

If I remember correctly the integra mounts should fit properly. It is a tight fit like a shoe horn but it should work. Worst case you could go to Hasport and get a swap kit made to fit like a glove :)

guna get 2 er this weekend and will be sure 2 post some pics. as 4 that tegy mount fit, it doesnt, and i couldnt find after market auto 2 auto mount. not sure if that exist.
