EDIT: Spoilers contained throughout this thread. If you haven't seen the movie and don't want it ruined, then you should probably back out.

It's dead in here today.

So did anyone else see it? Pretty mind blowing if you ask me. One of the best movies I've seen in a LONG time.

I love the ending where... (highlight) the totem doesn't stop and you're left to decide whether it was all a dream or not.

Yeah I love how each layer affected the next one, like when the van slid around the gravity in the third dream would shift around or become weightless. It's defenitely a thinker, once I put it together I don't think it could have been done more beautifully. Anyone who hasn't seen it, I suggest you go see it and pay attention.

lol I was explaining everything to my wifey. Loved the movie though

i plan on seeing it... my fiance saw it and said it was pretty good.. i have a few friends who have seen it 3-4 times already

Ill be scooping it up when it gets on Netflix thats for sure.

I loved it, and plan on seeing it again once it comes out on DVD. I saw it at a bar/theater, so my attention was a little lacking.

Awesome flick.

I liked how the safe in Mal's old house in the doll house in the 4th layer had an older Sargent and Greenleaf lock/dial on it. Nice touch.

I saw it the day it came out; awesome movie! It was a pleasant surprise really, because it happened to be the only movie showing that late and I hadn't heard of it.

I thought the movie was pretty good. We missed the first 5 minutes of it but that didn't matter really. Lol.

Everyone i know is saying nice things about it.

Watched it and was very impressed. You simply don't see many movies out these days that demand your attention and thought.

See it, and then see it again for full effect.

I will be watching it again only on the big screen. I was going to wait for the DVD but went another route. I will probably go this weekend.

it's the #3 rated movie on imdb. it's good, but not THAT good.

i really didn't think it was that complex. it's just a layering of dreams and effects.

i thought the kid from 3rd rock from the sun was badass. my favorite character.

somebody add a spoiler alert so we can discuss the plot.

From what I can tell the reason it is that high on IMDB is because of the complete lack of films in the last ten years that actually forced one to think. I am generalizing but not by much.

yeah, any type of brain stimulus gets a movie rated higher.

Well it just makes another element to the movie which is good. Makes it much more interesting and fun to watch. Movies of the last 10 years are pretty similar to each other, I mean hell the movies of the last couple years are remakes and sequels. Inception is a breath of fresh air.

That happens pretty much anytime a popular movie that does a good business comes out. IMDB is populated by movie fanboys, and the ratings for their top movies list is decided entirely by those fanboys, so it's not exactly objective. By no means should it be considered a definitive "top movies of all time" list. The Dark Knight was listed as # 1 for several months, but it's now slipped down to a more realistic ranking...
