I'm in a bind here, and I need some opinions. I've been looking for a job lately, and haven't been having much luck. Really, I've just been submitting resumes from CL ads, because I can't drive around and submit apps right now due to my Jeep not working at the moment. Basically, I got a call right now for a job I submitted a resume for, and they want to interview me tomorrow. The job itself is an entry level web design job. Here's the thing though, it's for an adult entertainment company. Basically I'd be editing photos and creating banners and headers, and other parts of websites. No coding as far as I understand. Also, they deal w/ straight and gay content. My situation right now is that I'm on unemployment and really want to get off of this shit. Right now I only get $1200/mo, and this job would be right at $2400/mo gross, so my income would almost double right away. They also have full medical, dental, vision after 90 days and 401k matching. As far as the content, I don't really have anything against it. I'm just more wondering how I will be able to approach the subject when someone, especially family, asks what I'm doing at my new job.
Have any of you been in a similar position? What would you do?
