I'm in a bind here, and I need some opinions. I've been looking for a job lately, and haven't been having much luck. Really, I've just been submitting resumes from CL ads, because I can't drive around and submit apps right now due to my Jeep not working at the moment. Basically, I got a call right now for a job I submitted a resume for, and they want to interview me tomorrow. The job itself is an entry level web design job. Here's the thing though, it's for an adult entertainment company. Basically I'd be editing photos and creating banners and headers, and other parts of websites. No coding as far as I understand. Also, they deal w/ straight and gay content. My situation right now is that I'm on unemployment and really want to get off of this shit. Right now I only get $1200/mo, and this job would be right at $2400/mo gross, so my income would almost double right away. They also have full medical, dental, vision after 90 days and 401k matching. As far as the content, I don't really have anything against it. I'm just more wondering how I will be able to approach the subject when someone, especially family, asks what I'm doing at my new job.

Have any of you been in a similar position? What would you do?

Moneys money dude, I know it sounds unorthodox, but you've gotta make a living somehow, the hardest part about that I think would be explaining it to future girlfriends/wifes, and keep looking for something better, that's what it's all about, only other dilemma I see is using it as a reference when applying to bigger companies.

Yea, I forgot to add in the reference thing. That might get a bit awkward in a job interview, lol.

take the job man
money is money
if it doesnt work out, then no big deal
not taking it doesnt help you meet any of your goals

if you're comfortable w/ your sexuality you should have no problem doing the work.. just dont sit and daze at the cock like Injen

I'm 100% comfortable, but I still don't think that would make it that much easier to stare at another guys asshole, haha.

i would take that job in a heart beat. i would love looking at cock all day long if i know i'm doubling my income.

Just keep in mind 2400 gross is not 2400 take home

2400x12 = 28,800 a year gross salary.

That's about $13.80 an hour.

FULL medical/etc doesn't always mean that they PAY for it in full-- it means thats it's offered. You'll likely pay about 100/month give or take for this as well.

And most 401k stuff is not gimme-money-- it's matched at 100% of 50% ususally, up to 3% or 6% of your salary.

So, if you put 3% away, they will put 3% away too. So, take that 3% off your paycheck ass well.

And now, taxes :)

At the end of the day, you'll be making barely more than what you are now on unemployment and have to look at cocks all day.

The benefits make it worth it though, especially if you don't have any health care right now, and it gives you something to do.

Just don't take your work home with you. :D

I'd work for a porn site with out any quams about it.
