Wats up guys I just bought a 2000 civic ex with a d16y8 motor. It has 200000 miles on it so Im planning on doing an engine swap next summer. The problem is I want to start making upgrades to the car until then but I dont want to buy something that is not going to be compatible with the swap. So what should I do? (Most likely going to put in a h22)

dont bother spending any money on it, best advice you're going to get.

for what you put in, you won't get squat out staying n/a. save your money and put it towards the engine swap.

You dont want to risk the compatibility of the engine for your new parts you could possibly rebuild the current engine it just will cost a bit more but will last a lot longer

if you are going to swap down the road then dont mod anything that has anything to do with the engine

take this time to get your brakes and suspension upgraded
