Ok so I just got a 89 Honda CR-X with a d15b2 in it and I want to someday put a new engine in it with a little more fight in it but I don’t know too much about Hondas because this is my first and I was looking at engines and the b16a3 caught my eye and I seen that it originally comes in the 94 and 95 Honda Del Sol and the Honda CR-X is the Del Sol’s Predecessor so I was wondering if the b16 could fit easily into my CR-X and I’m sure the b16 runs obd1 (if it does not please let me know) does anyone know if the 89 CR-X runs obd1 or obd2 and if so what all do I need to swap the ECU and the engine

The CR-X is OBD0. You'll need the normal swap stuff. Mounts, axles, ecu, custom harness (DIY or otherwise, its easy). Depending on the ECU OBD you can get a jumper harness custom made to go from ODB0 to 1/2 off your stock plugs.
