So Klyph needs to be careful from Alien religious radicals that can drive trucks on ice, resembling presidents, preaching revolutions on other planets while our world will end, and he should get proficient in super human strength, and be perfect with a gun to make a shot count, and be able to haggle antiques to survive for food and heat when monsters take over our civilization.

or is he?

Interesting. In the past 5 years the History Channel has gone from focusing on Hitler to focusing on "unfounded political, religious, economic and scientific conspiracy".

It scares me when mainstream news and television agrees with what I've been thinking.

i love these channels, but like everything, you have to take it with a grain of salt.

i wish gt4 was techtv again. wtf does cops, drifiting, or retards have to do with electronics and games?

I remember when TLC wasn't Lifetime 2. I live mostly on on-demand stuff from science channel, military and smithsonian. Regular programming sucks hardcore. Nat Geo is about the only thing halfway decent on primetime.

The Focus on History is generally something to do with WWII as a whole. They have a series called "Hitlers Managers" (good shit by the way, you learn alot of the political structure of the 3rd reich), the next hour would be about the Pacific theatre. Lately though they've been playing a LOT of Civil War and Revolutionary war stuff as well.

I pay for 250 channels and I watch a ridiculous amount of History Channel. I literally sat there and watched the 3 hour special on the Nuremburg Trials from start to end the other weekend...

Go home and turn on my tv at anytime and the chances are it's either on History, History Int'l, or the Military Channel.

I wouldn't mind paying Frontier for all the channels if I could build my own damn package. I don't need or want 5 spanish channels, 12 kids channels, and 200+ other channels I barely watch.

Realizing I lived in a similar way caused me to stop paying for cable all together & just do books/intranetz.

I live on Discovery, NatGeo, History, Military, etc. The only other stuff I watch on TV is sports, movies, and the occasional sitcom.

see i love to read about wwii, but ive already read 6 books on it. what else can i learn unless im watching actual video and getting real life voiced experiences of it? books dont do that but they are cheaper.
