Looks good from the pic, but I must say, it's an odd color combo considering the rest of the car.

haha yea i know. i was tired of the black that was peeling off. i actually plan on buying a whole other valve cover and painting it the same color as my car.

powder coat cost to much for me. and i had the paint so idk lol. stupidity rules yet again.

Well I mean, work with what ya got, you know. I guess I'm powder coat spoiled, cause I have a friend that does it at home for next to nothin if I buy the powder. Twelve bucks for a pound of powder and maybe a case of beer and I'm set. I guess maybe I'm spoiled.

But seriously- if you ever come across a good deal on it- go for it. Well worth the money. :)

idk im about to have the engine rebuilt this summer so im thinking of a new better color

valve cover looks good, i wouldnt have painted the intake though, strip the paint off and polish it, im thinking about chrome dipping my valve cover

ive got another valve cover im painting. its dark blue. just to cold to finish painting it.

are you using high temp paint ? how many coats ? clear ? im thinking about painting mine, but i dnt want it to turn out like every painted valve cover you see thats chipped, flaked, scarred, etc lol
