getting on a plane to Colorado springs tomorrow for my interview at bob penkus Volvo. does anyone know how much a taxi will charge me to drive about 12 miles. i need to know how much money i should bring.

looks like the Yellow Cab services that area

cant find local rates... but based on their rates for Denver it looks like it will be about $20 or so each way

i would plan $50-60 for the round trip.... but i recommend carrying more than that for incidentals and such

im not sure why you wouldnt want to bring your card(s) with you... especially when traveling
if i was traveling and for some reason was not bringing my card(s) i would want to have at least $500 cash in small bills split up into groups of $50 or so

according to Murphy's Law if you do not bring your card and do not have access to your money, you are going to run out and need more... then you'll be ass'ed out waiting for someone to wire you via western union..... or you are going to have to get a job under the table at some restaurant washing dishes for below minimum wage while you save your pennies.... or perhaps you could find a truck stop and turn tricks...

:shrug2:

good luck

I'd listen to E, he's had to turn tricks a few times to make it back home. He knows what he's talking about.

Long live party row and lot lizards!!!!

on a more serious note just take the card. It's an extra 5 grams on you. Seriously I looked it up. It's 5 grams

Ya, never travel without plastic. It is way more secure and if it gets stolen, you can call and cancel it.

You can't call the cash company to cancel your cash.

alright i just got back from colorado and im a new addition to Bob Penkhus tech team. spoke with the service manager and service director and they agreed i would be a great addition to the team so i just have to sign a couple of papers and im in. on the card issue it was a good idea because it cost more than i thought. it was $30 one way

sucks cuz they told me they would have gotten someone to pick me up from the airport and they took me there who knew they would be so cool lol
