i have a 1990 si civic hatchback...its a salvage title, but not sure if it was theft recovery or accident...i would think theft cuz body is straight...it has a zc1.5 sohc, skunk 2 intake manifold, injen cai, no name headers, koni adjustable suspension with eibach spotline kit, drilled rotors with green hawk hp brake pads, front black halo projectors, front neuspeed sway bar, stock exhaust, b&m short shifter, si interior with driver seat has famous tear on side of seat, has pioneer am/cd/mp3 player with a direct hub link to ipod source which charges ipod and plays it through an auxillary source, front and rear pioneer speakers, car is primer gray...

car runs good and very smooth, and i just wanted to know how much i can sell this for so i can make space in my garage...thanks in advance...

depends on your state. some states, you can turn a salvage title into a rebuilt title. other's, its pure parts car.

I'll give you 50 bones for it. Remember, modifications don't make the cost go up, normally. The fact that it was a salvage that got turned into someones project car would scare the hell out of me twice as much if I was looking to buy that.

good luck with the sale
you'll only get about half what you would if it weren't branded salvage
and they are hard as hell to sell

i wont touch a car with a salvage title after seeing all the trouble friends have had selling theirs

Just sell it to an out of state buyer.

My last car couldnt even be inspected in the state I lived in (non OBDII compliant car). I had to sell it to an out of stater. Luckily, having mods on the car really helps sell it, especially if the buyer is young.

50 bones...100 bones...haha...i might as well keep it...i have driven that car up to about 130 and it still was smooth...i live in Ca, but i will not just let the car go for nothing...thanx for your opinions tho...

I just sold my 90 hatch, which was painted instead of primer, had a boosted and tuned sohc vtec, Si interior with prelude leather front seats and CRX dash, and clean title for 2300 bucks.
That should give you an idea of what you can expect to get out of your car.
Honestly, you're probably better off parting it out, and selling the rolling chassis.

congrats on taking it to 130. you broke the law in a car not legal to be on the road.

Part it out and sell the shell to the Junk yard. It's simple. you'll make more money.

sell longblock
aftermarket parts seperate
good luck!

if you don't want to part out I say 500-750.

Ive gotten to 110 in my CRX and I felt like I was on the Hindenburg. Minus the flames.

nah, just saying the car is smooth and i now believe parting it out may be the way to make the mosr $$$...thanx...driving 130 and being smooth is a lil bit of sarcasm...lol...just to hint ya guys of how smooth the ride is...

Let me Share A piece of advice with you...just because you have a car that can go up over 130 mph, doesn't mean that there is EVER, ANY REASON TO DRIVE IT THAT FAST...I've crashed a Honda at that speed before on the street...it wasn't pretty...

Thats clearly not a Honda. Its obviously a prototype steel skate board.
