They are cheaply made, and sound like crap. For about $50-$100 more you can get something MUCH nicer.

sorry for trying to steal this thread and what not but what about headers? are they all basically the same as far as name brands and cheap ebay ones? the only thing i would figure would be different would be the welds on them but they are all done by machine and even machine welds have flaws sometimes. but as far has hp and tq gains they all have the same design, just curious

The grade of materials used, the coatings, the welds, the lengths/bends/diameters of the pipes, the design of the collector, etc ...all play crucial parts in the performance and longevity and performance of a header.
