I have a 94 accord ex and I had parked it at my wife's work for about a week and didn't turn it on during that time at all, and I went to drive it home but it refused to turn on. I tried quite a few times but all it would do was crank but not kick on. I finally called a tow truck after a few times of going there and trying and when he got there I went to show him what it was doing and it cranked a few times and then suddenly kicked on. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work. Later that week I didn't use that car for about two days and I went to turn it on and it had to crank for a few seconds before it kicked on. I'm really confused as to what it was doing and if anyone has any ideas as to why could you please let me know?

Was it a low battery crank? if its been sitting without a chanrge, it may simply be time to replace it.

but then again he said he tried it for a while before the tow truck got there then it started. the battery would have been long dead when the tow truck got there but it started.

possibly a fuel issue?

that what i told him. i told him to hook up a fuel pressure gauge after a couple days without touching it to see if he has fuel pressure thats my guess.

You're in FL like your location says I assume? You had the car closed up for a few weeks. You opened it and it didn't start. You let it sit for a awhile, no doubt with the windows down. It it started. It's probably the usual main relay. Find someone who you know doesn't have start issues and swap them. Or just take yours out and inspect the solder welds for cracks.

I never got the chance to do the thing with the fuel pressure gauge, so im not sure if thats what the problem was or not
