92-95 D15 Vtec swap

Hows it going, the rings are shot in my 90 civc dx with the d15B1 in it now and am looking to swap in a new block. What i need to know is the D15 Vtec from the 92-95 civic will bolt in, if the P28 ECU i have lying around works, and if the trans will work. I know the 92-95 trans is a hyrdro tranny so id prefer to use the cable so I dont have to set up lines and everything. Or can i swap bell housings and use that trans if it has better ratios. Or if there are better blocks that will bolt in other than B series due to current funding. Im looking to spend about 1000 at the most for putting this in, seeing as how id be upgrading the clutch and flywheel with it and just buying a conversion adapter for the ECU. Thanks for any help.

it will bolt right in, you have to buy a jumper harness to go from obd0 to obd1 to make the p28 work, you will have to wire it up for vtec unless the harness you get already has it, and i would get an si cable tranny... its a good tranny plus no swapping over to the hydro shit(but yes the hydro tranny will work)
