Hello All,
I'm new here so I fugured I would do an intro post. Got my first Honda (CRX) when I was 17, had it for 7 years and had to sell it after I had my daughter. A couple of years later I bought it back- nothing but the body and bumpers. :(
Year after that, I got a good shell- no motor, no suspension, very little interior. Pretty good start for a project car. Last week, my hubby bought me another CRX- lots of goodies on it, including the motor he built for the guy that rolled the car 30 miles after the swap. Now I have 3 CRX's in my yard- it's build time! :p
I will start a build thread soon. I have already started taking pics. Can't wait for this thing to be on the street!!!
Currently I drive a 2008 Mazdaspeed 3. Will post pics in the "cars other than Hondas" thread.

Look forward to meeting and learning! I do, however, have one question... Why can't I edit my profile??? and yes I have read the FAQ.

and its probably because you are still in greenhorn status. but that will be gone soon enough.

I had a feeling that might have been what the issue was. As this will be my first build thread, I'm curious- should I start now and move along as the car does or should I wait until it's complete and post it all at once? Hmmm... :hmm:
 
We definitely like it when you show us some progress with pics(^ ^)/.
 
Yeah just start right now and update us as you go along with your builds. That way if you need any help we are all here to help you. And another reason because the more posts you do the faster you get out of greenhorn status.
 
Thanks for the advice. I will at least post pics of the 2 set up in front of the shop so you can see what I'm starting with. My old one is way back in a field and it's just depressing to take pics of it so I will skip that one. Pics are at home so I will try and do that tomorrow.

Thanks. If I had it all to do over again I would have never sold it. But I'm determined to have me another one running soon!

Yes. Yes I am. :D Don't get me wrong- I love the CRX and have a very sentimental attachment to it, and i have always liked Hondas, but I LOVE my Mazdaspeed.

Hi to you too! I have another thread also (mazdaspeed) for my daily driver.
I am so excited about my crx it's all I can think about lol.
 
its too bad dacheat doesnt seem to come around very often, she shares your enthusiasm for rex's and would fully appreciate a detailed build thread.
