Here's my baby:

18" XXR 508 rims
Mazdaspeed Lowering Springs
Drilled and Slotted Rotors
Painted and decalled calipers
Custom built cat-back exhaust

Not a huge mod list by any means but I love it all the same.

looks ok.

ok? blah..

looks amazing! I like what you did with your calipers! I may have to steal that idea for mine :)

Any plans on future mods? I figure you're probably saving for the CRX's, but i figure'd i would ask..

what size tires are you running? I put 235/40r18's on my speed and i have some issues with rubbing in the back when there's more then 2 people in the car.

 nice car... thought about getting a speed3... unfortunately Mazdas hate me so i will not be buying another one

cant decide if i like the wheels or not, but nice car regardless. ive seen those speed3s putting up some pretty respectable times at the track.

I'm sure that I'm not a fan of the wheels. They look nice and all but (and this is IMO)...

Black rims like that would have been much nicer for two reasons;

a. I enjoy simplicity. The car is black, the rims should be black.
b. The red on the wheels will take attention away from the red on the calipers, which look fricken awesome.

Other than that... very nice. :)

Looks decent for a wagon

yes it looks ok. insert color "black with _____" here

as they are everywhere up in MA. speed3s and regular 3 hatchbacks... all in black on _____ .

Thanks. :D

I have a ton of future mods I want to do. I'm going to do a total blackout on all the lights- not with paint- with the covers. Also a Corksport FMIC kit that turns the top mount into an airbox. Intake, different sub (the 15 takes almost the entire hatch up), tint the windows, etc. That's just what I can think of off the top of my head lol. But yes, for now, the CRX is getting the financial attention. I want the project completed by Spring, and it's an attainable goal...
I believe I am running 225's, but I could be wrong... What kind of suspension do you have?

I get that a lot about the wheels. People either love them or hate them. But that's why we are all different right? :)

Thanks. I will be honest here- I LOVE the rims, and we chose the red to match the stitching on the seats. BUT- if I had t to do over again, I would possibly go with a straight black because I despise the fact that the spokes are PLASTIC. I have 2 broken ones already. But they really do stand out at a show against your everyday black rims.

It is very nice for a... wagon... This is my second wagon, and I'm proud to say I probably won't ever have another sedan again. I'm THAT taken by it. And a boosted wagon? Pshh... that's even better. LOL

Thanks. :D

i have mazdaspeed springs on my car. i just need to stop procrastinating and get my rear fenders rolled.

I've grown attached to CP-E parts. they cost a bit more, but a ton of R+D goes into their products. I want their FMIC kit.. If i remember right, the fmic kit alone gives ~25 wheel horsepower and 30 torque.. But it costs about $1400 hehe.

Yeah those FMIC are quite expensive. The Corksport is gonna run us around 1200 or so... All worth it in the end I guess. Ha

Hey i looked at your link for your club. But there isnt any pics of the cars owners?

Do you have problems with it smoking at all? I've been looking around at these cars for a while now but I've read/heard they do smoke quite a bit on occasion.

Sometimes. They run rich. It's not BAD or anything, but it does tend to do it. (Maybe something to do with it being direct injection? Or because of turbo? IDK...) You have to run a recirculating bov on it also- I know a lot of people were trying not to do that and the car HATES it. I run a recirc bov on mine and it still kinda burbles and backfires- which I love the sound of it personally but some people don't like that. So far- 58,000 miles and no issues whatsoever- and I don't baby it either. I know the 2007's had some issues, but mine's an '08 and I would tell anyone I ran into that it's well worth the money.

Awesome, thanks for the info. That makes me feel a little more comfortable with the car. I love the way they drive and look, but was worried about the smoking issue, but as long as its not a problem then Ill keep searching for one.

No prob. As long as it's not blowing a huge cloud of smoke out- you know- you would know what it looks like if it really had serious issues, but a little is normal. You can smell the difference in the exhaust too- not like a normal brand new car that runs with out you knowing that it's running lol.

I don't forsee me ever getting rid of this car. I usually get bored with cars in a couple of years time, but I'm going on 3 in this one and I love it just as much as day 1.

I had 18x8 +43 Volks on my car w/235/45's and the dealer optional MS springs...rear fenders were rolled and I had no issues
