Ok, so I've been looking for something that's a little bit more fitting of the way my life has changed since I bought the Fit. I'm looking for something a bit more car. I typically don't go for the Si, but it's not a bad deal.

2010 Civic Si Limited, 8568 miles, I can probably get it for 17.5k.

2010 RED 4DR SI LMTD, Honda Civic Sdn Certified Used Car in Baltimore Maryland | 2HGFA5E59AH700963

Good idea, bad idea?

Also on the table is a SC'd b16 in a 1992 DX HB chassis -- that wouldn't require trading in the fit. I've only got a couple months left of paying on the fit and I owe it outright.

I dunno, nothing new out on the market right now really gets me hard.

If I was to buy right now- it would be a Subaru sti wagon. When I get my Mazda paid off, I will be getting one. But I'm keeping my Mazda too.

I know, I know. But 4-doors is so convenient for someone with animals.

Are you like those blonde bimbo celebs that take their dogs everywhere? where the hell are you travelling with your cats all the time? lol

4 door Si=Fial.

You just have to find a balance between 4 doors and sporty. I have 2 small kids, and yeah I could function with 2 doors, but it's just so much easier to have 4. Now I just gotta figure out how to solve the problem of them fighting over who's riding in the Rex with me... that's gonna be an issue...

The only reason I haven't sold my fodo and bought a truck yet is because I have a hard time downgrading to a two door. I don't even use the back seat most of the time.

The si sedan is a great car. I love the shifter, and the 2 tiered dash will grow on you. It lacks bottom end power, but really makes up for it up top When you say you want a bit more car, do you mean something bigger or something nicer? I'm pretty sure the Fit will own the civic when it comes to usable cargo volume.

meh, that Si looks so bland. what happened to the CRZ search?

not sure what your price range is, but i LOVE my 2010 WRX. sporty, 4 door, AWD (great for those blizzards ya?). and the 2011's have the STi widebody, and can be had in a sedan, but i still think the hatch/5-door/wagon looks better in the new body style. something to think about.

I'm looking at the CRZ still, but after the deslerships either can't get a manual one, or can and won't deal.

The warranty on the Fit just expired, so I'm thinking it's not worth it for another couple years. Oh well. I went and hit some back roads today in the fit and it still makes me smile so it looks like the search for a new car is over for now.
