I wear stretchy pants
Thanks to Subaru and our owners I was priveledged enough to visit the plant in Lafyette Indiana.

I got to drive the cars around their track, got to see how they make them.
We even learned about how they recycle 99% of everything in the plant and properly dispose the other 1%.

Here are some pics for all of you AWD fans!

The lady on the right, her name is Claudia (pronounced it cloudy)
She is a pro driver and has not only driven on the Nurburgen(?) track. She also was on Top gear in one of the episodes where she drove a super car. I'll see if I can look for the clip.

I got to drive the Turbo forester and the 3.6 Outback balls to the wall around the track doing their special handling courses they had set up.

you were up here in my neck of the woods? nice. enjoy the cold? lol
looks like a fun time.

It was cold on the second day. It was supposed to snow this last friday and left thursday.

First time flying and would have been first time seeing snow too. :(
it was a big learning experience

I dont want to say your town sucks but man it seemed boring!

Not my town. I've only been to Lafayette once, it's about two hours southwest of me.

I went as an invitation and my company chose me.
Since i work for a Subaru franchise it was an aswesome experience.

after meeting other salesman and maagers its clear we are far different than the rest.

How can someone sel a product and they know so little about how good it is?
just hearing their conversation I realized why we either get a bad wrap or why they have that "salesperson" attitude averyone hates.

either way. it was fun and I have some videos too. AWD is the best I can say.
Doesn't mean it's stopping me from finishing my CRX though. :)

Sick dude!!! Looks like a TON of fun!

good to hear from you again. Hope all is well!

By the way, I got a type R B-series coming so I think I'll need some parts if you still got them.

mounts,axles and so forth.

i did the same kind of event when i used to work for subaru.
we went in groups. and it was me, the instructor, and the two other girls i worked with. and i was last to drive around the track. the other girls went pretty slow in the other cars (legacy specB and the Forrester xt), but the instructor said he was okay if i wanted to have a little fun. So i pushed the sti as hard as i could and the younger girl threw up all over the instructor after i completed the 0-100-0! hahaha good times!
