If you're going to hit a deer, its going to happen. If it makes you feel better, just call up your insurance company and ask them for some. I know statefarm is always handing that crap out.

my solution is bright ass HIDs so i can see those suckers comin as far in advance as possible. worked so far

If you want the headlights to aim far, you'd just use your high beams.

My mom's friend has them on all her cars; I don't know if they work or not but they haven't hit any deers since using them.

I live in BFE washington in the middle of deer country and have yet to hit one. I know a girl who swears by them but having driven the same roads for just as many years it doesn't make a diffrence. Deer freeze when they hear something they don't recognize, so even if they do "work" and they are in the middle of the road around a blind corner your still going to hit it.

My girls grandparents gave me a set for christmas last year.....they swear by them too.......... But i live in dallas,tx and they live in middle of nowhear mississippi................ Dam i cant spell or type today......

I haven't tried them, but I know bright lights, exhaust, and a bov don't do you any good. I hit one last year, was only driving about 40- but never saw it. By the time I realized I had hit something, the airbags were deflating. We live out in the middle of nowhere, so we always drive really slow on the backroads at night, but this deer was in full stride and we litterally hit eachother at the same moment. It was a 12 point- did almost 9 grand in damage to the car. :(
Thought I had some pics but can't find any right now. Since I started driving 12 years ago, I have hit 5 deer, and I only saw 1 before I hit it. One ran into the side of my car after the headlights passed by it. I will tell you- State Farm is VERY understanding about collisions with deer. LOL.

the best thing i've ever seen in my boy's rx7... when it's spoolin and blows off there's never been a deer in SIGHT... it also could be the utter loudness of the rotary too though :D

i think deer just like hondas. :(

My first deer collision was in my crx- I just couldn't get stopped in time and slid right into him and knocked him off his feet- nothing major- but my bad ones were in a chevy malibu and my Mazda. I think it may have something to do with the brightness of the paint also, because I have had one run into black cars, and dark green, but never had a problem in my white car.

I had some HPS pads in my fit, and after they started squeaking/squealing, I never saw another deer NOT RUNNING AWAY from my car. lol.
