receiver/dvd/surround sound
 
I have this, i had it control Xbox, off label LCD TV, Surrond Sound, DVD/VHS Combo, thing can even control your lights, its easy to setup, enter the model # of your device and it downloads the controls to the remote

i had the same brand of logitech harmony remote but 510 model. not as fancy as that one but it can control all of it. ps3 will require a added part but its 80 bucks. << hooks to the ps3. will work with most if not all brands and models.
 
Yeah I was going to go with any of the Logitech line. I haven't personally used them but from everything I have read and heard Logitech is the way to go.
 
I've got the Harmony 880 as well, it's stood up well for the past 3yrs even with pesky kids getting their hands on it and tossing it around like it's a super ball
