This is my first write up so bear with me ;)

The clearcoat has been peeling and yellowing for awhile so i figured it was time to do something about it

I started sanding with 320 grit on a palm sander to completely strip the clear off

I then used a cheap white spray can primer for a guide coat to make sure i got all the 320 scratches out when i sanded with 400 and again with 600

I then wet sanded with 1000 grit as a final sand before clear.

I did my buddys Evo 8 spoiler at the same time

I wiped it down with wax and grease remover and tack clothed it

I used Keystone Euroclear

I had to bust out the tweezers a couple times cuz the damn bugs kept landing in it in between coats. 5 coats later and :D

My buddys spoiler

Before sanding and buffing

And after

sorry about the quality of the pics all i have is my iphone :shrug2:

you can do it its really not that hard  the clear is the only tricky part  and if you screw that up you can always sand it down and try again.or theres always the option to take it to a shop after you sand it and have them clear it. it might run you $100 or so. either way the finished product is gona be :D:D:D

Read the tread it says how to fix it.. there also is another thread on fixing a cf hood..
