I wasn't sure wear to put this so I put it here because I see it as a body issue and an interior issue.

When the previous owner did the B swap in my EF hatch they removed the AC as well as the grommet were the AC pipes ran through the firewall and used this spot to run wires for the MPFI. Is there anyway to fill this in? Do they make OEM sealed plugs? When it rains water runs down the firewall and in to my interior and pools on the passenger side. I actually took my carpet out because of it. (Makes it a lot easier to clean up.)

If i get it fixed up i might consider putting a new carpet in.

Thanks a ton, thats exactly what i need. Is it a soft rubbery material? I'll probably have to poke a small hole in it somehow since the prev owner ran wires through there. Unless I reroute the wires.

Not sure, just ordered mine a couple days ago. It says on the listing that it's rubber though. I would think either way you could drill a small hole in it... I would just re- route the wires if you can. That way you can be sure you have cured the water issue. This is easy for me to say since I have no motor or any interior in the car yet and can just get right to everything...

Yeah lol. Mines my daily driver. I've been meaning to look at or maybe have someone more in the know take a look at my wiring though. The car runs but the wiring just isn't that clean and theres a lot of snipped wires hanging loose. I think mine might just be sort of ghetto rigged.

There is a smaller hole right next to that I could run the wires through so maybe I'll do that until I can get everything fixed up.

I use aluminum tape to plug my firewall holes. :)

I thought about that actually but was looking to get a plug because It looks little cleaner. I'm sure aluminum tape wins when price comes in to play though. I might actually have some that I could use temporarily until i can get a plug.

Thanks for the input. :)

That's also a good idea. Depends on if you are just looking for functionality or also looks. On my CRX we are doing a full wire tuck and detailed engine bay, so I think the actual plug will go better with what I'm doing.
