Got an awesome promo email from Dell, free $25 gift card, free activation, free shipping option, and a Droid X for 10 bucks with new account(other Droid Phones were free Incredible, Droid 2.)

Placed my Iphone on craigslist at 10:30 for $200 this morning and someone drove to my work by 11:30am to buy it lol , so its now gone. New phone comes in on Friday.

Ok so who has Android phones and what apps do i need to immediately get...

Dell Mobility Store

word :)

must have apps for me pretty much all came pre-installed.

gmail, google maps, virus scanner, advanced task killer, facebook, tweetdeck, and i added a few games like solitare/etc.

If you jog; CardioTrainer is a pretty cool app. Barcode Scanner is pretty useful, for me at least.

Did you have a cancellation fee through AT&T?

i will yes but i sold my iphone for $200 and only paid $10 for the new phone, well plus 19.99 for nxt day shipping so that will cover my cancellation fee = the cost of my new phone

Makes you wonder why so many people can be so blind.

Oh wait, I already know, trendy.

Welcome to the other side :)

lol, i didn't get an Iphone because it was trendy first off, i posted why i switched and went to att from verizon, bottom line was my verizon phone broke and they wanted to charge me $550 to replace it because i wasn't eligible for an upgrade and they would not budge and they were selling the phone for $150 to new customers and i thought it was fucked up that after nine years with them they wouldn't at least let me buy it for $150. i told them it would be cheaper for me to cancel my contract and get a new Iphone with At&T then it would be to replace my phone and they said sorry we can't do anything so I did it because i was irrantional.

Anyways the Inet is allot faster, i like the way apps download in the back ground, obviously the best feature is FLASH. i can stream my playlists from Playlist.com, youtube etc for music...the internet experience is just all around better in every way shape and form. 8mp cameria is bad ass, hdmi is great as well though not sure how often i would use that feature but at least it an option.

And of course, it's Verizon. so far i have 30 calls none of them dropped where as AT&T 7/10 calls I would get dorpped calls.

Actually i've never had a "dropped" called with Verizon, meaning where i had service and the call just dropped for no reason. I of course have lost complete servive while driving through certain areas and lost the call.

Anyways i sitll need to learn allot more about what can be done with Android 2.2.

But yeah what a major difference in experience.
