yep....mmhhm.......yep...
well there is a hobbyshop/track for R/c cars abotu 15 min. from my house. so i9 have been looking for something "fun" that my son and i can do to spend some time together, he is only 6 so working on cars is not "fun" for both of us........ and lego starwars isnt either..... so i get us a couplr of R/c cars and we go up there. all in all i have been 4 days last week and i must say its alot of fun and for the most part not too expensive. i bought a electrix rc truck. its a nice starter but i think i am going to upgrade mine to something a little faster. anyone else on here into R/C cars or heli, planes? just wondering. :p

if you want to check it out link is www.mikeshobbyshop.com
they have a live camera you can watch whats going on ie: the tracks and people racing around.

I do planes and heli's, and used to do a TON of nitro cars. Its a really fun, but stupid expensive hobby. The engines alone can be 200-300 dollars in those cars. So I guess if you have the money man, do it. you won't regret it, but make sure you do your research on how to use one first lol

used to be...traxxas t-max are great fun...
but as mentioned modding or even general upkeep is expensive.

got a car... want to get another car that can take more "aerial abuse"... touring cars dont like skate parks

i have a traxxas rustler vxl.. i love it.. plays in the snow, mud, rain, creeks, whatever. its a blast and far easier to maintain than a nitro thus far

I had two gas powered cars one RX-7 and a stadium truck. Had to get rid of them cause they cost too much money, the car did 80+ mph and the truck couldn't keep the front wheels on the ground, it did 60+mph.

I am not getting in to nitro. I am going to get the rc 4.1 2wd brushless off road truck as a x-mas present to myself. Mmade by associated...........

I dont think its too expensive......at least not compared to my honda and atv habbits. I know that it can cost alot but as of now i just tinker with it a little................

i used to love those back int he day, teh build them yourself ones, i use to have the grasshopper, grasshopper II and The Fox, fun hobbie but pretty $$$ if you really get into it. Always wanted a gas powered one

Been into R/C since I was 10. Pretty much nothing but Tamiya stuff. I've been meaning to get back into it though. I will soon enough since i'm making more money now :)

We used to sell cars, now we only deal in heli's, but I've been wanting to get either a nitro, or an electric myself. I saw the Ken Block edition Focus and thought about it with dealer discount it wouldn't be too bad.

Used to waaaaaaaaaay back in the day when Kyosho was just coming up with the Ultima cars to battle Associated and their RC10 on the buggy scene. I poured a TON of money into my Ultima. All gone.

ive got an electric car,hpi e10 drifter, its lime green now but its pretty fun..only downfall is you get like 10 mins of play and then dead battery.its got so many upgrades.wish i had good enough cash flow.

::HPI RACING:: - E10 heres the link with all the info...click on option parts and those are all upgrades..differant body's,wheels, suspension, even "turbo kits"

10 minutes is pretty good on battery... I got 4 with the way mine was setup. Things have changed quite a bit in 20 years with RC cars. :D
