Is it a lx? If it is i've been told that the best engine to swap into a 88-89 accord lx is a h-series engine; h22a or f20 series

What's your budget? Power goals? Mechanical knowledge?

H22 would be nice, but it's definitely not a bolt-in swap. B-series would be much easier, but it's not quite bolt-in either...

i have seen those accord boosted if it is the fuel injected model, if carberated go online and buy a racing weber carb kit for that car, either way a nice power gain and it would be the easiest
