Just found my new favorite beer

Since there's not a hooters or twin peaks out here, I'm looking for another chill spot. Decided to try the happy viking since it's right up the street from the house, Took a look at the beer menu & saw one called "arrogant bastard" I turned to my waitress & said "did ya'll know I was moving here & decided to name a beer after me?" I had to try it despite her many attempts to sway me from doing so. One of those attempts was saying most people that tried it thought it was harsher than guinness. I'm not usually a fan of anything dark whether it be stout or ale, but I thought it was way smoother than guinness.

guinness is my favorite, but only depending on the temperature. you put an ice cold guinness up to your lips and it just tastes like coal.

i dont find guiness to be harsh at all
i was scared to try it for a long time because im not really a beer drinker... when i finally did i was surprised how smooth it was... now its my go to beer

Yea, I think I spent too much time in Germany. I've never liked my beer cold any kind of beer for that matter.

Theyre sold as single 22oz bottles. not bad, but kind of pricey.

i've had the arrogant bastard too. it's a hard beer to find. mostly at hipster joints, which i hate. but i found a local place that isn't too bad. it's a good beer.

I find them at the local grocery store. Giant Eagle, dont know whos got them around, mostly the eastern half of the mid-west I believe.
Bar wise, I dont know, havent looked.

As stated, Arrogant Bastard is brewed by Stone Brewery which is located in Escondido, CA. AB and the many other Stone offerings are distributed from west to east coast and can be found here in almost any grocery store. They make a great IPA.
