so i've really been digging on these cars. i need something a little bigger than the mirage coupe and all the 5 door hatchbacks look like minivans so this seems to fit my bill.

i've got about 15K to spend on a new car saved up... these are just barely in my range.

I really like those too. Go for it, I don't know anything about them but I think they look sexy.
 
Looks bad ass! Though, same here; I don't really know much about Audis except they're part of the VW group.
 
jesus that picture takes fucking forever to load.. Are these things AWD?
 
i looked into these
was less than impressed with their MPG (most reports i see are scoring between 23-27ish mixed... and of course we dont get the diesel version that scores 40+ on the regular)
and the seats have shit for side bolstering and dont hold you (havent checked the R-Design model)

didnt bother test driving one after those two requirements were not met
cool looking cars though
 
i'm going to call you edward cullen if you buy one.

on a side note. i think the silver ones are beautiful. get some rims and a 1" drop and it's a pretty cool car. i like them.
 
FWIW - I test drove a couple Volvos (S60 AWD, S80 something, V70/XC70) and they felt like Buicks. Or maybe, more like a "floatier" Audi if you can imagine. If I didn't need to feel the road I would have considered the S60 over an A6 - but neither came close to the feel of my G35X. It was the closest to a BMW sedan I could find, but afford.
 
hmm never thought about the A3 i will have to check it out.

personally i have driven the s30 and i like it. i want a car that i dont have to modify and can carry more stuff than my coupes. its not a horrible get in and drive car. plus i like how small it is.
 
That's larger than your mirage? It must be a matchbox inside.

I drove one of these when car shopping for my tc, and it was very very small to me.




If it were me, I'd go for a nice audi avant, a3, or like said above, jetta tdi.

Volvo = junk. Especially one that doesn't have a warranty. Right up there with Saab.


Most high-end techs and/or shops WON'T work on Volvos, Saabs, or Jaguars...it's not uncommon for dealerships to turn away cars older than 6-7 years, either. So if it breaks, you're going to more than likely have to A. take it to a ratshop, or B. fix it yourself...

and if people who GET PAID to work on cars don't want to work on them, how do you think that YOU are gonna fare? lol...



I've driven a few Volvos with bigger turbos, FMICs, tunes, etc. on them back when I worked at the used car dealer...they were ALL slow as balls for the amount of work that went into them.
