except skins is scripted. hence all the issues with it being considered "child porn". they are writing in scenes where the actors are doing shit. simple solution, give the character aids and write him out. hire someone legal. not that fucking hard of a fix.

nobody said they are. producers create events on jersey shore. but skins is straight up scripted. they don't pretend it's real. it's just like watching any other sitcom like Dexter or something like that.

Haven't watched it but I read something that compared it to the movie "Kids" from back in the day.

saw that review as well..... and well, while i haven't seen the us version, the UK version is nothing like kids.

And it doesn't have Kaya Scodelario (Effy) in it, and therefore, i'm not really interested in watching it. Plus, it's on mtv, so it pretty much HAS to suck.

the difference is that the actors arent REALLY having sex. and being on MTV there's no nudity. so im not sure how anyone can say it's child porn. thats a huge stretch.

but the show sucks. its a bunch overdramatized stupid high school borderline emo bs.
