hey guys & girls.

im new here but not to hondas.

there isnt a day that i dont think about going faster.
i believe im a true honda head :)

i'll start my intro with some hondas that ive owned/currently own.

first car:
1994 civic dx hatch 5spd
charcoal
bought it at 16 yrs old.
swapped in a d15b cause the b7 was smokin like a bastard.
man i miss how simple my life was when i had this car :)

mocked up my first turbo project on the hatch:

then the 1st hatch wouldnt pass inspection.
so i kept it as a parts car and bought a red 1995 dx hatch (riced).
i removed the halo lights, eyelids and front mount intake lol.

then i boosted it with the kit i had mocked up on the black hatch. car went 14.6 @ 94 1/4mile.:

then i built a d16z6 for the red hatch. typical eagle/srp combo.

never got it running right. sold the turbo stuff, and kept the built block.
sold the red hatch. bought a white 1992 white cx hatch. still own this one, its my r&d whore.
swapped a stock z6 into the white hatch cause i couldn't deal with the 8 valve that was in it haha.
car ran 15.5 @ 94 1/4mile just how it looks in this pic:

then i boosted the stock z6 with a 14b. car ran 9.3 @ 76 1/8th mile.
no traction due to crappy track prep:

then i thru the built z6 block that i had in the red hatch in it.
car made 300whp on 20psi. never got to track it cause i cracked a sleeve:

now im going turbo h22a with a gt3582r turbo. still in the making.

so i cracked a sleeve on my d16 in 2009 on 20 psi. after that i got out of the sohc game, and picked up a jdm h22a with 70k on it.
put the car on the road in august of 2010, n/a car went 13.3 @ 104. not fast enough.
this winter there are major changes happening in the set-up.

Nice build man, started out at the bottom and now worked your way up... Keep the pics rollin I would love to see a turbo H22 Hatch...
 
hey guys new here and also new to the whole forum thing. jarhead, quick question have u had any problems driving the h22? i have a 94 integra with a h22 and im having a couple problems just wondering if u could share some info..... thanks

i fixed every problem i was having.... shoot away
 
its hard to explain but today when i went to drive the car it wouldnt even make it to 3000 rpm and it felt like it was choking, but it didnt stall at all and it did it in every gear but then the check engine light came on and it didnt do it anymore. i didnt check the code, its obd1. any ideas?

maybe an electrical issue like a ground or something. especially if it is intermittent. try to get the code next time
