ATT buys t-mobile?

im not sure how i feel about this, i've been with tmobile since i was 16.
i have never had any issue with them, and have always heard people complaining about att.

I can't wait to see how much verizon spends on donations to the anti-trust committee and congress to prevent the merger. AT&T will be 1/3 bigger than verizon. Plus there is still sprint, cricket, virgin, etc. Still though, I just feel this won't be a smooth buyout.

Yes, prepare for piss poor service (both reception and customer service). As soon as my contract dwindles down to the point where it won't rape my wallet to get out, I'm done with AT&T...

Same thing happened when Verizon bought out Alltel. Alltel had great service. If I had any problem going in there they would fix it without thinking twice about it. Always left with a smile. Verizon came in, and there was no phone service, everyone in the store was suddenly retarded and assholes, and shit never got done. And when I wanted to change my plan I had no where to go but more expensive.

Yup, T-Mobile had a nice little thing going...running on 4G, big enough to be able to offer decent products and rates, but small enough to still be able to provide decent customer service, etc. Now they'll just become part of the money mongering "we don't give a f#ck, just give us your money" glutton that is AT&T...

Less competition in the market is gonna be bad for the consumer. Plain and simple.

Been with TMO for as long as I can remember, and they've come a long way in terms of equipment and coverage. 4g service is great in my area, they still offer unlimited data (ATT doesn't), and the prices are reasonable. I highly doubt this will benefit me at all.

I never had a problem with the service, my issue was they sold a phone that was 3g capable, but it was slow as balls. theyve been pretty understanding about the 250 of 300 I owe them for the cancellation fees, the rep just said pay what you can when you can.

I would say slow as balls 3g capability would count as piss poor service.

And what the rep meant was "take your time, pay what you can while we rape your credit score and turn it over to collections".

Or a crap phone. Why I liked my Storm, the internet speed 3G or wifi (with the storm 2) was slow to the point where at times it would take 1-2 MINUTES to load a single page.

Never had an issue with any droid.

I've never had any problems with Verizon, however I always heard bad stuff about them from people who are not with them.

Just like my Mercedes. Everyone who hasn't owned Told me to runnnnn people say its the worst car to deal with they're trash, everyone I know personally that owns one loves it and in some cases say they'll never sell them.

Weird how that works.

Linh came from ATT, ATT would add so many random things to her bill, random data charges, every other bill she'd have to call them up and say something, only to be pushed aside, so she started to call them up and just start yelling, that worked.

Then she jumped onto my verizon plan and hasn't looked back. Even when we do have an isssue with our bill like her mother pushing internet on her phone and getting charged for data a simple call stating what happened , and they said, oh no problem lets take that off for you.

Not sure about other areas, but the Verizon stores here have always been top notch. the only issue I have with Verizon stores are they are always busy! any given time their will be 10+ people in the store looking at new phones.

i was with verizon from 2002-2005 ish. back when unlimited text was only $4.99.

the service was decent, phone selection sucked, and i got billed for 1200 international texts i didn't make. at least that got resolved.

i'll probably work my way back there if this att/tmo merger doesn't work out.

Cellphone company threads suck so here's to ATT pushing out the TM girl.

Sadly she's getting old. Lots and lots of makeup to make her the hot person she once was.

only if you don't let people know what she really looks like when outside of the movie/tv set.

lol my credit was already raped. this ain't going to d
o much of anything to it.

edit: it was the phone, it wasnt 3g capable. I would be at the bar with a friend on ATT, hers would load immediately. same phone model just slightly newer.

seven months later it still isnt in collections. ;)

She's only 41. That's probably old to you young bucks, but seems about perfect for me.

Also, Michael Douglas landed her with one of the greatest lines ever.
