First TTB race for the Del Slo after i built it. Got 2nd on Saturday and 1st place on Sunday!

Here is a short clip from Sunday rain. Managed a 2:25 in this monsoon weather. Watch the drift action at the beginning.. lol.

I would have captured some more/better shots but the camera quit on me right after capturing this clip.

that was a damn good lap, you were blowing by cars like they were standing still lol.. epic drift you had there at the very beginning

Was there no audio at all? I don't have headphones here at work so I couldn't turn on my vol.

The camera wasn't made to handle FF drifting.

It was making the visibility worse. I put some rainx on that I had to reapply every session. The wipers are super old and just smeared. I was able to see "good enough" without them.. lol
 
nice, what was that at the end in front of you a z3/m roadster or miata? Must have had something to be pulling you like that.

that was a z3/m roadster.. he passed a miata earlier in the vid

and b16, the audio cut out after about 30-40 seconds i think, and it stays off until the video is almost over. it comes back on for a second, then cuts out again

it seems to me that your driving ability is what was pushing you through that pack. a lot of those drivers didnt seem too aggressive, just kind of "going through the motions" if you will.
 
Yeah, I was going to say, since your not going to use your wipers, (and you really didnt seem too) even with car spray hitting your windshield. Using Rain-x, and better yet, Aquapel, would make that problem easier to deal.

Yeah the audio cuts in and out while using desktop speakers, it goes out at :26 and doesnt return. Its playing on Quickplayer for me. Im sure winamp picks it up as well, but havent tried yet.

As for the driving, gread job.

And this is why I NEVER did any track events. If I had been out there I probably woulda gone forza style on those guys. Plenty of times watching that I was like 'I know he has the power to take that gap'.

haha, I wanted to as well. If it wasn't so wet out I would have done it. Remember this was the first time the car has been out since a complete rebuild of the engine, suspension and transmission. Not to mention driving on tires I've never used before. I was trying to get comfortable with the car before I stuffed it. :D

I came out to the track late that session. I was unable to make grid based on my position. I had to play catchup the entire session. Time Trial is best lap of the day anyways, so it didn't really matter much.
