Hi guys I'm back with yet another question. I just recently purchased another 91 crx. It's bone stock except for the auto to manual conversion which I just finished the other day. I was just going to use the car as a beater until the timing belt broke. So I'm using this as an excuse to do a motor swap. My question is has anyone heard of putting a D16A2 head on a D16Z6 block? What could be the reason for doing this? A buddy of mine has this motor for sale and I was thinking of buying it. He says it's a low compression block with 8.75 to 1 compression. If I bought it I was just going to swap the head for a Z6 head. I havent heard of a D16A2 motor so I'm just curious of why they might have chose this match. What car did the D16A2 motor come from? Does any of this sound right or did someone blow smoke up his ass and he is just passing it along.

I've never heard of it either. I googled it and there's not a lot of info on it. Some web sites say it's from an early TEG but that's it. No specs or anything. I wish I could find more about it.

i think its out of the first gen integra. DOHC d series. i think it has around 120-130 hp

Well still no results on the D16A2 head. Well it's a good thing I have an extra Z6 head that I can put on the block.
