I think there's a company doing knock-offs on H-T; but Bisi headers are made to order; specific for each app. I wish the D-series had the springs like the B-series though.
 
oh.... i was kidding about the ebay thing.... something that takes that much precision... wouldnt want it from ebay....

There's nothing wrong with buying quality, name brand parts from E-Bay. Lots of companies have E-Bay stores where they sell good shit for the cheapest prices around. The issue with E-Bay (and the reason it gets a bad rap), is when people buy the cheap knock-off shit and it inevitably craps out on them.

You get what you pay for. It's been said a million times, but it's true...

Agreed. I picked up a set of brand new Skunk 2 Pro S coilovers for my EF 2 years ago for $600 ^_^


You just have to know what to look for and how to tell if its junk or name brand..

I haven't installed it(motor still being built), but plenty of other people have with great results.

The goal of the header is just getting more power; wasn't designed for looks or sound. It only looks the way it does because they're trying to stuff long, equal length primaries in the engine bay(this allows just a single pipe to go under the motor for better clearance). Some other manufacturer's headers looks the same(ie: AN-R/RMF).

this is an RMF header.
they make mad power but as you can see in the pic you have to sacrifice something for cleareance.....

withe my RMF I can't use A/C, have to use a half sized EG radiator and traction bars.

Yeah, they do. He puts a shit ton of research in to them...

the dude is rain man smart. he has a chemical engineering degree. I met him a few years back at a drag event. he had just finished his new insight. i think there is a thread on here somewhere about it.

anyway, super super cool guy. If he is ever at an event, just walk up and say hi. he is very happy to talk cars with people. very down to earth.
 
He actually has a couple degrees in various fields. IIRC, he was working or has his masters or Ph.D in Chemical.

Yeah, he has multiple degrees. HondaTuning magazine had a big interview with him a few years back. I think HondaDude has met him (or at least talked with him) before too..

Haha, I've met him, and he helped me build my old CB7 into a machine. He is a really down to earth, easy to approach kind of guy, and is more than willing to share his knowledge with anyone.

We did some engine building with one of my other buddies Gabe, out in Arkansas...
