A 24-year-old pilot decided to land his single-engine plane on Rockaway Beach in Queens, later saying he had gotten the idea from the TV show "Flying Wild Alaska." He claimed a passenger was sick on board and was having difficulty with an engine. The back-and-forth between the pilot and the air-traffic controller, who tried to talk him out of landing on the public beach, is hilarious — this dude handles it in the most nonchalant way imaginable and refuses to call it an emergency.

i think theres some FAA investigation. he'll probably lose his pilots license. not a good stunt to pull after a similar scenario about a year ago where a guy was killed when he was hit by a plane landing on a beach during a REAL emergency landing.

"We have like 5 or 6 passengers. Its not an emergency but we are gonna go ahead and land on the beach"

he actually said "we have a sick passenger" trying to justify his action, lol.

This guy is a moron. I hope he loses his license for this.
