I'm amassing the parts to do a b16 swap on my '91 DX hatch, and I'd like to buy an engine harness to cut up/crossbreed for the swap. I'd like to leave the original on on the engine/transmission I'm pulling out....so it's ready to go in my beater (another '91 DX hatch) if necessary. Hasport wants a core....and Rywire doesn't have an available yet, so I'm going to build my own.

Thanks!

Jim, the LS harness this guy is trying to sell you won't help you. I hate when people try to sell someone something they know isn't going to be useful. The easiest thing you can do is order a swap harness from Monotech. He has a presence here and on Honda-tech. He requires no core, his prices are decent, and the quality is excellent. After I hacked a harness together on my own using just my 91 DX stock harness I ended up getting one of his. Just let him know what generation motor/ECU you're gonna use. His harness looks like Honda made it.

WHO THE HECK ARE YOU??? AND HOW DARE YOU STATE SOMETHING SO ASININE AS TO ME KNOWINGLY TRYING TO SELL SOMETHING THAT ("KNOW ISN'T GOING TO WORK") DO YOU KNOW ME? OBVIOUSLY NOT!
GO BACK AND READ HIS POST..
HE ASKS FOR A HARNESS THAT HE CAN "CUT UP/CROSSBREED" TO USE FOR HIS SWAP..

I'VE GOT ALMOST 30YRS OF OLD HONDA PARTS HERE (BEEN WORKING ON THEM SINCE THE MID 70'S) AND AM THINNING THEM OUT.
JUST TRYING TO HELP OUT A BTOTHER..

It's merely up to HIM and HIS choice of how much he want's to spend and time to invest in the swap..

Who am I? Me, of course. Anyone who knows anything about 88-91 Civics knows you can't use an Integra harness. You can't really even use an MPFI 89-91 Civic Si engine harness without a serious headache. So, since you are getting so upset over the internet and seeing as you know so much about Hondas, you should know that it would be hard as hell to splice an Integra LS engine harness in a DPFI Civic and therefore are trying to sell him something that is virtually useless.

It is ultimately his choice, you are correct. He can either spend $0-$50, or whatever you want for the harness, and have a giant headache/mess or spend around $150 and have a harness that is as good as factory, clearly labeled, and comes with it's own instructions for the ecu pin switching.
