random classes re-taken and now this. she gone to far to walk away. I hate to walk away from my job but I can't let her give up either. not that we would......i really didn't have a choice.
She dropped the bomb on me after she had chosen the school and was waiting for letters of acceptance.

she didn't get in those schools. Cali was the only one and even though living is more expensive,earthquakes ,my job, she won't have a job, buying a house, no family scenario is not stopping her.
AND yes it sucks that I may not take the CRX. we shall see.

Well, maybe you will be able to get a sales job out there... otherwise I'd say that to completely uproot yourself with no prospects at this point is a terrible terrible idea.

Pomona kinda sucks, as well as L.A. in general. Pomona's more east toward the inland empire, so it's hot as fuck in the summer and smoggy. The gf and I had looked at moving there a couple years back when we both got into cal poly pomona, but ended up deciding on coming back to San Diego. I'm not sure what rent is like where you live, but it's expensive in the L.A. area. We were looking at 2 bedroom apts in non-ghetto areas and the cheapest around were about $1200.mo. Most areas around are kinda sketchy too, so if you are looking at a place, drive by in the day and night a few times before you sign anything. We did find one cool city when we were looking, San Dimas. The rent prices there were reasonable, the areas looked a lot more safe, and it's close to Pomona.

That's when you tell them to fuck off, however being that they're married, I'm guessing if he can't make it happen, she would understand, but if there's a way of pulling it off, and it offers a good option for their future, there's no reason not to try.
If you get married for the right reasons you stop thinking about yourself as long as the relationship is well and in balance. It's all about the two of you.
I'd do whatever I could to make linh happy, even if it meant leaving everything behind for a few years. If it was something we could pull off without to much risk of being on the streets. I'd try.
