That was like getting a hand job from Gisele. Great, awesome, hot, and erotic. But got me excited just to find thats all I get. Fucking tease. Lol

Actually looks like Warner Bros did pick it up but(IMDB):
Warner Bros. looking to reboot franchise, but Threshold Entertainment filed new breach of contract lawsuit to prevent it from moving forward.

I saw this a couple months ago. IIRC, no one has picked up the movie, yet.

Check out the wikipedia.

I think it was just self promotion for the fight choreographer.

The creators of mk didnt even know it was being made.

yeah its a couple months old, thats why i asked if it was posted in the SMB movie trailer.

anyway, i think i read somewhere that Ed Boon and co did eventually find out and have no probs with it being released.

the rights holder to the movie or to the franchise would be total bone heads if they didnt give this movie a go. its a prefect time to milk the franchise because MK fighting series is doing a "reboot" as well; going back to 2d with 3d graphics and all the fatalities goodness... looks pretty cool.

also, the fighting game scene is seeing a huge boom with releases like street fighter, marvel vs capcom 3, blazeblue, mortal kombat 9, just to name a few. and most of them are releasing "professional" arcade fighting sticks that retail for $150 and people are definitely buying them up.

It's so stupid what's stopping production. How it goes is Threshold had some agreement or whatever with Midway; and Midway was bought out by Warner Bros. Threshold just wants a cut or whatever just because of this "agreement".

Bringing this one back from the dead!

So has anyone been watching this? They've got three episodes out so far. The first two were great. Third was so-so, but still watchable...

Let's see...

Reptile is a human with a skin condition
Baraka is a plastic surgeon
Scorpion is working for he police on prison release

This franchise is finished...

Fatality...

Seriously, why don't they just introduce Christopher Walken as Raiden: a disgruntled electrician from NY city who develops delusions of grandeur and a god complex...

This is why video game/comic books should not be turned into shows/movies. The cannon of the story (why people love it) is cast aside in favor of hollywood's re-imagining. If I want to reboot the MK franchise I will head down to Gamestop...
