So, I got the old lady a '88 Nissan Maxima wagon a while back for her DD. I might add, this bad bitch has era correct Rotas on it lol. Also, it is a 3.0 V6. Anyways, it ran just fine up until about last week. Now, it has a part throttle miss. Its not so bad that it seems like its gunna die, but its definitely noticable. I just checked the plugs (which all looked good) and re-gapped them but it still misses. A visual inspection didnt turn anything up, that might cause a miss. Now Im thinkin it might be a fuel issue. While its running, none of the injectors sound troubled. Could a bad fuel filter cause a part throttle miss?

My next thought was to seafoam the tank and see if it cleared up, but I doubt that help the problem.

Wires are fairly new. May replace them anyways, I dont like em. I think Ill go ahead and do the cap and rotor though. It looks like it got a full tune up just before I got it, but the only way to know for sure is to do it again lol.

Ill get a pic up later tonite lol.

Same engine as the corresponding year 300zx, which was known for it's electrical gremlins.

Good luck.
