I want to make my delsol stand out from the croud. I wanted to know if it was possible to put a s2000 front clip on my 94 delsol; or am I just thinking too big?

front clip isnt happening
people have grafted in the s2k headlights
pretty much looks like shit
doesnt work with the lines of the car at all

want an s2k go buy an s2k
nothing you do is going to be original with a honda
and as far as doing things for the sole purpose of being original
like ive said time and time again
I've never seen someone fuck a chicken..... but I wouldn't do it to be original

Why not do an EG or EK front end? Easier process and it will look more natural...

We put men on the moon, of course putting the front end of one car on another is possible.

The most obvious question though is ...why? Photoshop it, and I don't think you'll think it's a good idea any longer.

What's so cool about a car that looks like an S2K but is minus a hundred horse power and FWD? Figure out a way to drop the S2K drive-train in there but leave it looking like a Del Sol. That would be something cool...

thanks for all the help guys. i guess i wasnt thinking clearly. my friend has an EK front on his. any ideas about what would look good on my sol?

:werd: to what has been said in this thread. you are going to struggle to be original. everything has been done at least twice; if it hasn't been done before, there's usually a damn good reason why.

build a decently quick car with semi-stock appearance. keep it as quiet as you can, get it to handle and stop well. that is going to be the most enjoyable car to drive.

I have a good motor. I got a boosted king motorsports super b16. i never put it on the track, but i did beat a 08 civic si by 3 cars. i heard they run high 14 sec in the 1/4 mile.

so this is what you have?? why on earth would you boost a motor on 13:1 compression.. i guess you wanna blow that $7k motor

King Motorsports Super B16 Crate Motor

The B16 was the motor that jump started the Honda performance scene. Recently the larger B18, H22, and K-Series have been getting a lot of attention, however the B16 is still a great little powerplant when it is set-up correctly. We've developed a potent package that is a real high RPM screamer perfect for street, strip, or track use. Do you like the sound of 9500rpm and 210whp? This little guy provides a very broad torque curve and amazing top end power.

We highly recommend the use of a Hondata system with this engine. If you need one we will work out a package deal - tuning is key to making this combination work correctly.

Here's the quick list of specs:

B16A Block/Crank Fully Balanced and Blueprinted

GSR Head w/ King Stage IV Port/Polish
13.0:1 Compression Ratio
Wiseco Pistons

Skunk2 Pro2+ Cams

Supertech Springs

Crower Steel Retainers

Wiseco Pistons

Rage Header

Moroso 5.5qt Oil Pan

so you're running a turbo at 12psi on top of 13:1 CR ? You're full of shit
