I have a 92 civic hatch and was wanting to do a rear drum to disc brake swap. I went to a local junkyard and found a 92 integra. Was wondering if the braking system off of the teg would bolt up with no mods to my hatch. If so what all would i need off of the teg to do this swap? Since it is a junkyard they are selling parts individually so dont really want to buy want i dont need. Any advice would be appreciated.

I dont know if the 92 teg will work. I know for sure that 94-00 teg brakes will work. You will need to get the brake booster, master cylinder, proportioning valve, complete rear trailing arms, brake lines, and e-brake lines. I am pretty sure that is all you need. Its been a while since I did mine. If I think of something else I will let you know.

The actual trailing arm will work as will the 40/40 prop valve. The toe adjustment arm will probably be different (you can use the ones from your drum set up). I forget the name but the other arm in the center of the trailing arm will also probably have a different length (this is the arm where a camber adjustment part would replace) again you could use the ones from your current drum set up. I would buy new 93 Si e-brake cables, stainless steel braided brake lines, and replace any bad bushings. As far as booster/master cyl I'm not sure if the 90-93 tegs will be any better cause I don't know the EG's size. If anything get a remanufactured 94-00 non ABS integra set up or a remanufactured 92-95 EG Si set up.

I used a 93 EG Si trailing arm on my 91 DX so I know all of the trailing arms, regardless of actual caliper/hub/rotor size will work on all 88-00 civics 90-00 integra.

Freezy, you should make your own thread, but everything in my statement is pretty much true for you too. Except you should use 90-93 integra coupe e-brake cables.

This is getting to be one of the worst "make your own damn thread"s.

No dude, it won't. Preludes are like Accords. Civics generally match Integras.

Everyone needs to get on Google, type in the year/trim level of their respective car, and "rear disc conversion". The damn answer will be there or maybe even 2nd page in, if you even knew that you could page over on Google. Most learn something new everyday. I wonder sometimes.

Leave the booster and mc alone. I think only the toe adjsuter/compensating arm differ.

Ok so which of those answers was directed to my question? Please people if ur not driving an eg hatch and wanting to do a rear disc conversion from a 92 teg stay off this thread. It only takes a few mins to make ur own and you will save everyone a lot of trouble.
